Educastion has more power than guns
He is George McLaurin the first man black admitted to University of Oklahoma in 1948, was forced to sit on a corner away from his fellow white people.
But her name remains on the honor list as one of the top three students in college.
These are his words:
′′ Some colleagues looked at me like I was an animal, no one spoke a word to me, for teachers I didn't even exist, rarely answered my questions. But I dedicated myself so much, that later my colleagues started looking for me to explain to them and the teachers started to consider me, stop being invisible to them ".
